Why am I doing this

If there is lift-off after nearly fifty years of preaching in the church, and building the rhythm of my whole life around that pattern, on a very long runway, then this website might be it for me. A new adventure, being airborne, with no flight deck beneath me, and no flight plan on the dashboard. Not there yet. Trying to move from the temptation of nostalgia, to the edge of tomorrow. (Oooo, sounds like a soap opera!) Even when on holiday, it takes a while to unstrap the harness and stretch my arms. The mental drift is a deep cleanser, and usually, after a time of vacuous drifting, new energy arises, and new thoughts appear. This time could be the longest vacuous drift, and the compilation of the strangest thoughts in my life. We’ll see!
